I remember way back in the early 2000, super thin or over-plucked brows is the “in” thing. I’m just so glad that I didn’t literally make a line out of my bushy brows before because nowadays, girls are trying to achieve a fuller and stronger brows. Nature Republic: Collagen HD Aqua BB Cream

I work in a Korean company and last Sunday was our Christmas Party. I didn't really go for a lot of reasons. But anyway, I still got a present from our Chairman. Tahdaaaah! :) BB Cream! I'm not really familiar with this brand. Do you guys have any product from Nature Republic? I bought Nature Republic Stain Girl's Tint months ago from an online store and so far, I like it. :)
I've been using BB cream for 2 years and I also tried several types of it. From all those creams that I tried, I fell in love with the Power Perfection BB Cream from The Face Shop. So now, I'll give my new BB cream a try. Let's see how this works! :)

Benefit Cosmetic: Brows-a-go-go!

I’m not very particular when it comes to make-up products. I use both branded and local cosmetics. I even use replicas! My skin is not sensitive so I don’t worry about any irritations it may cause. If there is, then stop using it. They are also good quality products but of course, not as good as the genuine brands. You can use these items without hurting yourself. Another thing you need to look at is the price. You are just paying not even half of the original prices. I think it’s a good deal for people who don’t have enough budget to avail the pricey cosmetic products. It’s still a good value for your money.

The packaging is similar with the genuine Brows-ago-go. I saw it online and I think the only difference is they have the lighter shade of brown. The replica is a bit darker but the size and shape are just the same.

Eyebrow Threading

Don’t you hate it when your eyebrows feels like it weighs 10kgs already? Haha! Now that mine starts to grow, my face looks a little untidy and shading brows becomes complex. My eyebrows are naturally bushy so it can be really exhausting to maintain my eyebrows clean. There are a lot of ways to keep it clean. You can pluck, wax it or go for a threading. Personally, I prefer threading because it looks cleaner as it effectively removes the short hair also. You can do it on your own or you can ask a pro to do it for you. As for me, I couldn't thread my own eyebrows so.. it’s time to LAYBARE! :)

LOOOK AT THAT. I own a forest just above my eyes. Haha! It's about time to do some action to remove the extra hair! :) I regularly visit Laybare Pearl Plaza Branch and they recommend to thread your eyebrows every two weeks. I usually go for an eyebrow and upper lip threading. I know, I'm hairy like a man. HAHA.

Yay! My eyebrows are now clean and I just paid 100php for this! They applied soothing cream after the threading and I can't wash it for 4 hours. You won't notice any redness as it subsided already. If it's your first time to try this method, it will be painful for you but remember.. TIIS GANDA lang! :)

Ayala Triangle Gardens Lights and Sounds Show

Last week I went to Ayala after work together with my mom, son and my bff. Lou works in Ayala so we just waited for him to get off. We were walking to have dinner when we saw the lights show from afar and it looks really amazing. My son got really excited and he keeps on saying “Yights” (He meant Lights). We wanted to go there right away when we saw it but it is better if we’ll see it from the very beginning. So we just satisfied our tummy first before we satisfy our eyes.

I watched the video of the show from my husband's cellphone but it's much better if you'll see it live. It's a MUST-SEE show! I think only the sad and bitter people will not enjoy this. Haha!

Finding Time With Your Husband

It’s been awhile since Lou and I went out with just the two of us. I think I should just accept that we could not do the same things together that we used to be. It will always be that way if you already have a kid. Yes, we still do some of those things but with a very limited time. My mom may be very willing to take care of my son when we are away but we both know that it shouldn’t be that way. We should NEVER act like a childless couple. Both of us wants to spend time with our son after we get off work but we always make sure that we always have our “alone time”.

Famy, Laguna

I hope it’s always weekend. Or maybe, it could be 3 days. Time flies really fast if you’re having fun that is why you feel sad when you realize it’s already Sunday. Here we go again, Lazy Monday. I get up late on Mondays maybe because I still have a hangover of weekend. :|

Anyway, we went to Famy, Laguna last Saturday. It’s the second home of my mother-in-law so we always visit. Lou’s her driver every weekend and of course, he loves to bring us along wherever he goes. Haha! This time, we went there together with the kids! Yes kids, my son and nephew. :)

DIY Diet Plan

G-R-R-R. I always say that whenever I try on my used-to-be-loose clothes and take them off after looking at the mirror. They’re all so tight!! Our room always turns out to be a mess every morning because it always takes me 5 to 6 clothes to try to finally decide what to wear for the day. I miss those days when I can wear anything in my closet without worrying about the bulges to hide.  Not that I am super thin before but I just feel like an inflated balloon now. I gained so much weight since I transferred to AM shift. The working time is lesser so I have a lot of time to eat. Haha!

Holiday Season: Sequined Tops

I know most of us can feel the spirit of Christmas already. Aren't you excited? The weather is getting cold and you can see a lot of Christmas decors everywhere. The places that used to be so dark at night are now full of lights that are so good look at. Company holiday parties will be all over the city, too! Yay! :) (But I'm not going to attend our company's party. :D) I think it's time for you to rock the party wearing sequined tops! :)

Family Saturdate!

Lou's on leave for a week since last Friday but he needed to attend a meeting last Saturday so he brought us along with him. Luis and I waited at Starbucks, Greenbelt 1 but the little kid got bored so we walked around the mall. It's really hard to carry a big bag and a baby. HAHA. We just stayed at the couch in Greenbelt 5 where Luis fell asleep. :) On our way home, we just dropped by at Mom & Tina's Bakery Cafe to have our late lunch. :)

What I love about this restaurant is they offer All-day Breakfast. I really enjoyed the U.S. Beef Tapa served with fried egg and garlic rice. It taste like bacon! :)

DIY Customized Denim Shorts

I was browsing DIY videos on Youtube and I saw a lot of tutorials on how to do your own customized denim shorts. You can use an old pants you don't wear anymore and cut it off or you can also use a plain and boring shorts you have in your closet. After you have your pants cut, distress it using tweezers or a thong from your kitchen. Use scissors to destroy some parts but be gentle when doing it. Don't worry if you made mistakes on your first try and besides you cannot really go wrong with this. You cannot really make it as perfect as you want it to be because its imperfection makes it perfect. :) Here is my first try:

I cut my sister's shorts into a shorty shorts. :) I dyed it with pink and purple and put studs! :)

Weekend Special.

I love weekends! :) Weekend for me means I don't have work and will just spend time with my family. Last Saturday we went to SM Masinag to buy an iPad for Angel. It's her Mama's advanced graduation gift. :) I saw the iTouch 5th gen and I really, really want it. :| But I don't think I need it so never mind. We ate at King Bee Chinese Restaurant after and Luis kept on roaming around. I wish we just stayed at home. Haha!

Supposedly, we'll visit Luis' dentist and go grocery shopping last Saturday but Lou needed to do something so we just moved our plans to Sunday. :/

I'm Back!! :)))

Hi guys! :) I'm back from 2010. :D As you can see I edited my layout which I had a hard time doing it. OH GOSH. I didn't know I can survive editing those alien HTML codes. Haha! Good thing I can still do the basics that I learned when I was in high school. Yes, I figured it all out on my own without any help when I was younger during the time that I am so into blogging. I wonder why I want to blog yet I'm not so good in writing. Echosera lang. :p

Anyway, I'm here in the office. I know this is not allowed but everyone here is doing the same specially the teachers from the AM Shift. The Admin people keep on reminding us not to browse "illegal websites" but they can't stop because the IT guy is my friend. Who-hoo! :) There are a lot of "Bibos" from the PM Shift and all they do is follow. There is nothing wrong with that but sometimes there are rules in the office that are not in favor of the teachers and they just keep quiet and just let it all happen. I so hate those "pasikat" teachers. :|

Lugaw texted me about his conversation with Luis. Yes, he can converse even though he is still "bulol". HAHA. Lugaw asked him if he wants to go and eat at Jollibee then Luis said, "daddy ya iya!" Did you get what does he mean by that? He meant, "Daddy walang pera". Lugaw once said it to him before when he saw the Jollibee commercial on TV and he asked his dad to bring him to "Hmnnbee" (That's how he say it) then Lugaw told him he has no money and then today he said it! He is so funny! :)

I can't wait to go home. I'm done with my classes and it's just 9:00 in the morning. This is my work life and I'm soooo free. :) I love my job! :)
